- 2 pizza bases (30 cm)
Ingredients
2 pizza bases (30 cm)
- Flour — to buy500 g
- Baker's yeast — to buy7 g
- Olive oil — to buy3 cl
- Salt — to buy10 g
Preparation
Dissolve the yeast in 30 cl of lukewarm water — never hot, it would kill it — and let it stand 5 minutes until lightly foamy.
Put the flour and salt in a bowl, make a well and add the yeasted water then the oil.
Mix, then knead 10 minutes on the counter until you get a smooth, elastic dough that no longer sticks to your fingers.
Shape into a ball, place it in an oiled bowl, cover with a tea towel and let it rise 1 hour at room temperature: it should double in size.
Punch the dough down, divide it in two and stretch each ball with your fingertips from the centre outward, keeping a puffy rim.
