- Salmon — to buy4 pavés
- Maple syrup — to buy4 c. à s.
- Mustard — to buy1 c. à s.
- Garlic — to buy1 gousse
- Lemon — to buy1/2, le jus
- Dill — to buyquelques brins
- Salt — to buy1 pincée
Preparation
Mix the maple syrup, mustard, crushed garlic and lemon juice in a bowl to make the marinade.
Place the salmon fillets in a dish, coat with the marinade, and let sit for 15 minutes at room temperature (no longer, or the lemon would start to cure the fish).
Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F.
Arrange the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, season lightly with salt (the marinade is already partly salty from the mustard), and bake for 12-14 minutes, until just cooked and still moist in the center.
Near the end of cooking, brush once more with the remaining marinade for a nice glaze.
Sprinkle with chopped dill and serve immediately.
