Ingredients

- Apple — to buy5
- Flour — to buy120 g
- Sugar — to buy100 g
- Butter — to buy100 g
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F), fan if possible.
Peel the apples, core them and cut into even pieces; spread them in a buttered baking dish.
In a bowl, mix the flour and sugar, add the cold diced butter, and rub together with your fingertips (don't let the butter warm up) until it looks like coarse breadcrumbs.
Scatter the crumble generously and evenly over the apples, without pressing down, so it stays light and crisp.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until golden and crisp on top and the apple juices bubble at the edges.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving, on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
