- Peanut paste — to buy250 g
- Olive oil — to buy1 tbsp
- Onion — to buy1
- Garlic — to buy2 cloves
- Ginger — to buy1 tsp
- Tomato paste — to buy1 tbsp
- Stock — to buy500 ml
- Chili pepper — to buy1
- Tomato — to buy2
Preparation
Put the peanut paste in a bowl and gradually loosen it with warm water until you get a smooth cream.
Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the sliced onion, garlic and ginger for 3 minutes.
Add the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Pour the loosened peanut paste into the saucepan, stirring well to avoid lumps.
Add the broth little by little, stirring constantly, until you get a coating sauce consistency.
Add the chili and chopped tomatoes.
Simmer for 20 minutes over low heat, stirring regularly so it doesn't catch on the bottom.
Season with salt; the sauce should be smooth and glossy — serve hot with rice or tô.
